The lusciously produced indie-folk of Camp 8 comes to us today in another huge banger in ‘Barbie’. Of the track, the Melbourne-born frontman Reuben Apirana says “’Barbie’ is about forgiveness and overcoming anger. Letting go of something/someone that's been prominent in my life for 5 years”. Reverb-heavy percussion supports an emotional voice during the tracks opening moments, but by the end of the release, the glorious production allows strings and ethereal textures to induce goosebumps on even the thickest of skin.
